Our Official Position on 666

Since this is the 6th day of the 6th month of the 6th year of the 21st century (if you believe the Christian marketing machine), today would be written as 06/06/06 in shorthand.

For those of you on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, you'd write it 06/06/06.

The SOI has discovered the secret behind the number. John the Revelator, while the subject of a good song by Depeche Mode, did have a point in his book "Revelation". We agree that 666 is the number of the beast. Through complex mathematical formulae, we have established that this number represents Tom Cruise.

This is how we did it:

Take the first letter of his name "T". Assign it the number "660". Then give each letter of his surname the value of 1. Add it together. Voila!

ok, and for those with vertical dyslexia I guess it would be 09/09/09 ... mmm ... so there is hope for Tom after all .... yippie!

No, I don't think you understand. Tom Cruise did not eat the placenta. That is why he tops the NMC list.
